We’ve hit the Middlesex Lounge a few times for dancing, and it’s always hit! So, we’re doing it again. I really enjoy the Middlesex because the vibe is very laid back, the crowd is a little older than the usual barely 21 found at most places, and the music is something you can actually dance to.
That and the DJs usually play top 40 hits, music that we’re all familiar with unless you’ve been living under a rock. The slightly older crowd means people actually ask you to dance (no creepers!), and are genuinely interested in making new connections.
Can’t move like Jagger? No problem! The Middlesex has a great bar that serves up liquid courage 🙂 Come out and join us!
We’ll be meeting at 8:30 to give members a chance to mingle with new faces and catch up with old ones, and grab a drink. After 9pm there is a $10 cover charge, so be sure to get there before then. After 10:30-11ish, there is usually a line to get in.
The Middlesex Lounge is located in the heart of Central Square. Despite being in the “smahtiest” part of Cambridge, Middlesex is the coolest kid in school. Take a break from all the nerdiness and cut loose after a long week with dancing, drinking, and fun! Widely hailed by the city as a trendsetter in the nightlife scene, Middlesex is just plain cool without being trendy. For more info about the venue and the DJ…
Middlesex is located about 5 minutes off the Central Square Red Line stop. There is ample metered street parking available in the area (the meters are off at 6pm), as well as parking garages.
See you there! 🙂
